Alo Johnston, LMFT
Alo (he/him) is a Latino trans man and licensed marriage and family therapist. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. It was there that he received specific, unique training in LGBTQ affirmative psychotherapy. He continued his training at the Los Angeles LGBT Center and completed his training with the Los Angeles Gender Center. He now works in private practice in downtown Los Angeles.
His work integrates feminist and postmodern styles of psychotherapy and he always works to see mental health through an intersectional lens. He specializes in working with people in the queer, trans, non-monogamous, and kink communities. He offers both talk therapy and Brainspotting sessions.
Alo is the author of “Am I Trans Enough? How To Overcome Your Doubts and Find Your Authentic Self.” He also works as a Wondermind mental health advisory committee board member.

Grayson Thompson, LMFT
Grayson (he/him) is a Black, first-generation everything, queer man of trans experience and a licensed marriage and family therapist based in Northern California. He graduated with a Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. He comes to Pershing Square Therapy with experience working with queer and trans folks, couples, people with identity challenges, child welfare and foster care-impacted people and families, parents, sex workers, teens, and everyone in between.
Grayson integrates an intersectional, feminist framework with postmodern and psychoed approaches to healing. He is on track to becoming a Certified Geek Therapist, expanding his expertise in incorporating geek culture into the therapy space. He believes that mental health can help us get free, thank you for choosing to get free, too.

Deanna Russo, AMFT
Deanna (she/her) is a queer white cis-woman and trans-ally. A psychology major from Rollins College with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide, Deanna completed her training at an intensive outpatient facility treating nearly every psychological disorder from a DBT/CBT perspective.
Now working in private practice, Deanna is a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder specialist helping parents navigate the world on behalf of their developmentally-delayed children and supporting anyone who may have been diagnosed as neurodivergent later in life.
Deanna also specializes in cooperative co-parenting, counseling high-conflict families to create consistency between two homes. She is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for working with couples and non-traditional relationships and is a trauma-informed EMDR integrative therapist in helping clients process both PTSD and C-PTSD.

Fiona “Finn” Kearney, AMFT
Finn (they/them) is a queer, genderfluid individual practicing as a registered associate marriage and family therapist (AMFT). They earned various social and natural science degrees from Sierra College, thereafter completing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Brandman University. Finn is continuing their education in a doctoral program studying psychology with an emphasis on gender and sexual fluidity. They bring experiences from street-based, humanistic practices mostly working with queer folks, people who use drugs, unhoused folks, teens, neurodivergent individuals, and those exploring their identities.
Finn specializes in trauma-informed care with a background in grass-roots advocacy. They implement feminist, harm reductionist, and somatic techniques into their practice while acknowledging the mind and body connection within trauma work. Finn believes that every therapy experience is unique and looks forward to hearing the stories of what makes you, you.
