Pre-Licensed Clinician (AMFT, ASW, APCC)

Pershing Square Therapy is currently seeking associate (pre-licensed) clinicians to join our team. This position can either be hybrid in Los Angeles or fully remote in California.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be an associate clinician (AMFT, ASW, APCC) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California.

• Have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ communities. Pershing Square Therapy is a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy group that primarily serves those communities.

• Have at least 1,000 clinical hours or 1.5 years of experience in a clinical role.

• Be willing to commit to staying with Pershing Square Therapy until the time of licensure.

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Be willing to see at least 10 clients per week.

• Be willing to see adolescents, adults, and couples.

• Be responsible, self-directed, organized, and interested in learning and growing.

• Understand the needs and responsibilities of working in a private practice setting.

This position offers:

• Base pay + commission (what has traditionally been called a “fee split”) as a W-2 employee. $21/hr base + 30% commission of session fees.

• Flexible schedule. See clients whenever you’d like!

• Opportunity to work either remotely and/or from our office in downtown Los Angeles.

• Weekly supervision with Alo Johnston, LMFT.

• Client referrals and marketing including paid Psychology Today subscription.
